Network tips

  • Put the sender and TV on the same Wi‑Fi.
  • Disable corporate VPNs that block local discovery.
  • Pop‑up blockers can prevent opening the receiver window; allow pop‑ups for this site.

Optional dev integration

Want a native Cast button? We can add Google Cast / Web Receiver and Apple TV receiver apps later. That requires platform registration; not needed for the options above.

4) DLNA / Miracast (device mirroring)

  • Windows: Settings → System → Display → Connect to a wireless display.
  • Android: Quick Settings → Cast / Smart View (varies by device).
  • Many Smart TVs expose a "DLNA receiver"; mirroring your device works with Ahoy’s player.
